The Free plan covers a small class with Python and websites. The Teacher plan adds pygame games and the tools for assigning and reviewing work, with room for every class you teach. Students never pay.

Pricing questions
No. Student accounts are always free. Teachers choose a plan, and students just join and code.
Nothing is deleted. You just can’t add more classes, students or files past the limit until you make room or move to the Teacher plan. On Free, each class holds 35 students.
Yes. Your classes, assignments, comments and student work all stay. The Teacher tools are hidden until you upgrade again, and nothing over the Free limits is removed.
Every teacher can try the Teacher plan free for 30 days. You add a card at checkout, and your selected monthly or annual payment is taken only when the trial ends. Cancel in Manage billing before then and you won’t be charged. There’s one trial per teacher.
Start your free trial on this page and add a card through Stripe. After the trial, it renews monthly or annually, depending on your choice, until you cancel. Cancel anytime from Manage billing in your dashboard, and you keep the Teacher plan until the end of the period you’ve paid for.

Existing subscribers can manage or cancel their subscription from Manage billing. Once the paid period or trial ends, choose a different billing option here.
